About the event

On September 12 at 16:00, the World Club of Odesa (7 Marazliivska Street) will host a special event dedicated to Ukrainian Cinema Day.

Admission is by charitable donation. Every contribution you make is a testament to your sincere and selfless connection to the World Club of Odesa. It is thanks to your support that the Club continues to create high-quality cultural projects.

This time, we will watch the documentary film Man with a Movie Camera, a work widely regarded as one of the most significant documentaries in the history of world cinema.

Film director and screenwriter Dziga Vertov and cinematographer and director Mikhail Kaufman created a true manifesto of the international cinematic avant-garde, much of which was filmed and edited in Odesa.

We will watch the film together and discuss it during the event.

Host and presenter: Oleksii Ovchynnikov, screenwriter and producer.
